Episode 64: December 15th, 2013

Welcome to another episode Highbrow! Lowbrow? Every two weeks or so, Jesse and Shaun get together to discuss the Best Picture Academy Award Winner and top box office earner of the same year to see who was right: the critics or the masses. For this episode, the year is 1941 featuring How Green Was My Valley (Highbrow) and Sergeant York (Lowbrow). How Green Was My Family details the nostalgic coming of age story of a young lad in his small welsh town. Sergeant York is a retelling of real American hero Alvin York, a southerner recruited into the army that captured a whole platoon despite his pacifict beliefs. Hear which one we liked more in the latest Highbrow! Lowbrow?
