Every two weeks or so, Jesse and Shaun get together to discuss the Best Picture Academy Award Winner and top box office earner of the the same year to see who was right: the critics or the masses. For this episode, the year is 1939 with two films; a biopic detailing the fevered and relentless Florenz Ziegfield and his extravagent Ziegfield Follies in The Great Ziegfield (Highbrow), and San Francisco (Lowbrow) a musical drama about the rough and tumble early days of San Francisco with a tragedy that changed everything.
