"Lovely, Still" presents an uncommon love story. A man and woman meet and court each other in elderly age. The first three-quarters of the film are light-hearted and touching. The coda, however, presents a shocking plot twist that will cause you to reevaluate everything that came before. It is sympathetically directed and features strong turns from both Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn.
